Therapy Contract

You’re invited to read through the following contract carefully.

Please ask any questions you may have about the contract or if you need any help with it.

Therapy Sessions will last for one hour and I offer weekly therapy.

Payment for your therapy sessions need to be paid weekly before or during each session by cash or bank transfer.

Should you need to cancel an appointment please give me a minimum of 24 hours notice. If 24 hours notice is not given, the normal full charge will be made for the missed appointment. With cancellations made with 24 hours notice a cancellation fee of 50% will be charged to cover room hire and related costs.

I will not be able to keep the therapy space open for you in the following circumstances: If you do not attend two counselling sessions without contacting me; If you do not attend 3 out of the first 12 counselling sessions.

Complaints Procedure

As a member of the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) I adhere to their Ethical Framework for standards, guidance and policies. A copy of this is available on request.

I ask that if you are unhappy with the service, we first discuss the issue. Failing that, you are able to contact a representative from the UKCP on 0207 014 9955.
